Our client, a leading name in Water Treatment, is expanding their South East team and seeking a dedicated Water Hygiene Service Engineer. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for maintaining safe and compliant water systems.
Role Overview
You’ll be responsible for delivering water hygiene services across a range of commercial and residential sites, ensuring compliance with HSG274 and ACOP L8 guidelines. From routine monitoring to remedial tasks, your work will help safeguard public health and support high standards of water safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct temperature checks on tap outlets, tanks, and cylinders
- Perform showerhead and hose de-scaling
- Carry out closed system analysis and water sampling
- Inspect and service thermostatic mixer valves (TMVs)
- Complete calorifier inspections and visual assessments of water systems
- Maintain accurate engineer reports and site logbooks
- Bonus: Experience with swimming pool water analysis is highly desirable

- Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site
- Confidence discussing technical issues and documenting findings
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and climbing
- Full UK driving licence (required)
