Our client, a leading Water Treatment Company, is expanding its South East team and seeking a proactive Water Hygiene Service Engineer. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining water hygiene standards and ensuring compliance with HSG274 and ACOP L8 guidelines across a variety of commercial and residential sites.
Role Overview
As a Water Hygiene Service Engineer, you’ll carry out routine monitoring, inspections, and remedial tasks to help prevent Legionella risks and maintain safe water systems. You’ll work independently across sites in Kent and London, delivering high-quality service and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
	- Monitor temperatures of tap outlets, tanks, and cylinders
- Perform showerhead and hose de-scaling
- Conduct closed system analysis and water sampling
- Carry out calorifier inspections and visual checks of water systems
- Inspect and service thermostatic mixer valves (TMVs)
- Maintain detailed engineer reports and site logbooks
- Bonus: Experience with swimming pool water analysis is highly desirable
What You’ll Need
	- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and technical ability
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role and company
- Ability to work independently and solve on-site challenges
- Confidence discussing technical issues and documenting findings
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and climbing
- Full UK driving licence (required)
- Familiarity with HSG274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
