Our client is a leading integrated provider of safety and regulatory compliance services across water, air, fire, and electrical 

They are now recruiting for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their Team in East London / Essex. You’ll work across different sites throughout the city, carrying out essential water hygiene services such as temperature testing and flushing. 

 

Duties Include:

  • Conduct water temperature testing, flushing, and sampling to ensure water systems remain safe, efficient, and compliant across various client sites
  • Assist in the cleaning and disinfection of showerheads following hygiene protocols to maintain high water quality standards
  • Perform TMV servicing, inspections, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with water hygiene requirements along with working on closed systems
  • Competently maintain up-to-date electronic records in line with L8 and HSG274 guidance to ensure full compliance

 

Experience Required:

  • Hardworking, eager to learn new skills, and open to career progression within the water hygiene industry
  • Wiling to travel and work in central London on a regular basis along with a Full UK Driving Licence 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality service while adhering to safety guidelines and protocols
  • Previous water hygiene experience is required and the willingness to work weekends or late evenings as and when needed

 

Package:

  • Basic salary between £28K - £33K
  • OTE up to £35K
  • Over time paid at enhanced rates for weekend and out of hours works.
