Our client is a well-established building services provider delivering high-quality compliance and maintenance solutions across the UK. They are now looking to recruit a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing team.
This role is predominantly London-based (approx. 90% of works), so candidates should be comfortable working across London sites with occasional travel outside the area if required.
Main Duties:
- Carry out water hygiene tasks including TMV servicing, flushing, temperature monitoring, and sampling
- Clean and disinfect water systems including tanks and cooling towers
- Ensure compliance with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
- Complete accurate reports and maintain records of all work carried out
- Support remedial works and basic plumbing tasks where required
- Represent my client professionally on-site and liaise with clients
Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer / Technician
- Good understanding of Legionella control and water hygiene standards
- Experience working on domestic and commercial water systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
