A leading water hygiene and compliance provider is looking to recruit an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to support a portfolio of clients across Staffordshire.
This is a field-based role offering a varied workload across commercial, industrial and public sector sites, focusing on maintaining safe and compliant water systems in line with current legislation and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems in line with ACOP L8
- Water sampling and microbiological testing
- CWST inspections, cleaning and disinfection
- Showerhead cleaning, descaling and disinfection
- TMV servicing, fail-safe testing and maintenance
- Flushing of little-used outlets
- Calorifier inspections and blowdowns
- Completion of logbooks and compliance documentation
- Identifying and reporting remedial works
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with HSG274 and company procedures
Experience Required:
- Previous experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
- Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
- Experience in temperature monitoring, sampling and disinfection
- Experience with TMVs, CWSTs and general compliance tasks
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
Package:
- Basic salary £28,000 – £32,000
