A leading water treatment and compliance specialist is looking to recruit a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover the Devon region.
This is a field-based role delivering a full range of water hygiene and Legionella compliance services across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring water systems remain safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out temperature monitoring in line with ACOP L8
- Conduct water sampling across a variety of systems
- Perform cleaning and disinfection of water systems
- Complete cold water storage tank inspections
- Undertake showerhead descaling and servicing
- Carry out TMV fail-safe testing and basic servicing
- Complete accurate service reports and logbooks
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with:
- ACOP L8
- HSG274 guidelines
- Maintain strong communication with clients on site
Experience Required
- Previous experience within water hygiene / Legionella control
- Experience in:
- Temperature monitoring
- Water sampling
- Tank inspections
- Cleaning & disinfection
- Good understanding of ACOP L8 / HSG274
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
