We are currently recruiting for an established Water Hygiene and Legionella compliance company that is looking to appoint an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites throughout London and surrounding areas.

The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of Water Hygiene and Legionella control duties across commercial properties.
Duties will include:
- Temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems
- Water sampling for Legionella and microbiological analysis
- Cold Water Storage Tank inspections
- Calorifier inspections
- Showerhead and outlet cleaning, descaling and disinfection
- TMV inspections, servicing and failsafe testing
- Flushing of little-used outlets
- Cleaning and disinfection of Cold Water Storage Tanks
- System chlorinations and disinfection works
- Identifying areas of non-compliance and reporting remedial requirements
- Completing accurate site reports and maintaining client records
- Working in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG274
- Liaising professionally with clients and site contacts
- Managing your own workload and travel throughout London
What We're Looking For
Candidates should ideally have:
- Previous experience working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella control industry
- Good working knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274
- Experience with temperature monitoring, water sampling and tank inspections
- Knowledge of TMVs and commercial hot and cold water systems
- Cleaning and disinfection experience would be advantageous
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK driving licence

- £30,000 – £36,000 basic salary, depending on experience
