A well-established and growing water treatment and water hygiene specialist is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Maintenance Engineer to join its expanding team.

Operating across the North West, Midlands and Yorkshire regions, the business provides a comprehensive range of water hygiene, legionella compliance and water treatment services to a diverse client base.

This role offers the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of sites, develop strong client relationships and become a valued member of a close-knit and supportive team. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks including:
  • Cold Water Storage Tank (CWST) inspections
  • Legionella sampling
  • TVC sampling
  • Showerhead cleaning and disinfection
  • Closed system sampling in accordance with BS8552
  • TMV inspection, servicing and maintenance
  • Undertake cleaning and disinfection works
  • Complete minor remedial plumbing works
  • Fault finding and servicing of water systems and associated equipment
  • Produce accurate service reports using tablet-based software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Maintain a professional approach when working on client sites
  • Follow all health, safety and compliance procedures

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience within the water hygiene, water treatment or legionella compliance industry
  • Good understanding of:
  • ACOP L8
  • HSG274 Part 2
  • BS8580-1:2019
  • HTM 04-01 (desirable)
  • Experience carrying out legionella compliance PPM tasks
  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills
  • Plumbing qualifications advantageous but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence

Salary & Benefits

 

Full-Time Option

  • 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm)
  • £29,120 – £33,280 per annum

Flexible Working Option

  • 36 hours per week
  • Early finish every Friday
  • £26,210 – £29,952 per annum
