Our client is a specialist Legionella Control Company that is now recruiting an Operations Manager in the West Midlands
You will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills. You will be confident, positive, proactive, and self-aware, with the ability to lead and motivate a dispersed operational field team.
With a strong eye for detail, commercial and health and safety awareness, you will possess the ability to analyse processes and develop effective improvement strategies. Managing several different projects and problem solving within a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analysing operations and staff performance – nationwide.
Ensure full utilisation of field staff, minimising unproductive pay.
Develop and implement quality control methods.
Set targets and business goals, working alongside the team to achieve these.
Manage budgets and forecasts.
Scheduling training sessions and workshops for new and existing staff members.
Develop strategies for improved efficiency and profit, as well as cost reduction.
Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
Perform quality controls and monitor field production KPIs.
Field staff performance management, including disciplinary procedures.
Supporting development and introduction of new field services and products.
Ensure all processes are compliant with the relevant company employment rules, procedures, and regulations.
Production of method statements & risk assessments.
Health and Safety officer of all field staff.
Reviewing and producing COSHH assessments.
You must have solid experience of working as an Operations Manager or similar role and knowledge of organisational effectiveness. You must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of industry guidelines and regulation. You will hold NEBOSH or equivalent.
