Our client, a respected and long‑established water treatment specialist, is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Supervisor to lead and support a team of Water Hygiene Engineers covering the region from Milton Keynes to the South Coast.
Role Overview
As Water Hygiene Supervisor, you will manage a field-based engineering team, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, and operational performance across a wide range of water hygiene activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and allocating monthly PPM schedules for engineers working across the UK
- Monitoring daily and weekly performance against targets and KPIs
- Providing day‑to‑day technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to engineers
- Overseeing training and development during probation and throughout employment
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards
Essential Technical Experience
Candidates must have hands‑on experience in:
- Temperature monitoring
- Showerhead descaling
- Water sampling
- Cold Water Storage Tank inspections and cleaning
- Hot Water Storage Vessel purging
- Clean & disinfection of domestic water systems
- Central heating testing
- Swimming pool testing
- Remedial plumbing tasks
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring engineers
- Strong technical knowledge of water hygiene and compliance
- Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Able to manage a mobile workforce across a wide geographic area
