Our client is a Nationwide Water Treatment, Water Hygiene and Ventilation Company that is looking to recruit a Water Hygiene Technical Manager based out of their North West Office

As the Water Hygiene Technical Manager you will have overall responsibility for the department


Main Duties:

  • To undertake technical and quality audits of staff engaged in water hygiene activities across the UK
  • To provide reports on our internal quality system and log all findings
  • To investigate any non-conformities arising from audits.
  • Investigate any internal or external complaints and non -conformities
  • Development of all staff in the Water Hygiene department making sure training program is adequate and ensuring all staff are suitably trained .
  • Quality development of Water Hygiene capabilities in line with business needs, UKAS and best practice.
  • Providing technical advice and direction in the field of Water Hygiene and Legionella Management
  • Compile area of responsibility for all tasks ensuring ownership and ensure ownership and accountability

Candidates will have the following backgrounds:

  • Understanding of Legionella bacteria, water systems, required monitoring & records, legislation and regulations
  • Auditing skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and communication skills
  • Health & Safety management
  • Planning skills
  • Ability to manage change successfully
  • Able to work as a member of a team
  • A Minimum of 10 years in the Water Hygiene / Legionella Industry with a Minimum of 5 years in a Management position
  • Science Degree qualified
