Our client is a well-established Water Hygiene and Legionella Compliance company with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality services to commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and public sector clients.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team, covering the West Midlands and surrounding areas.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of Water Hygiene duties, including:
- Temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems
- Water sampling for Legionella and microbiological analysis
- Showerhead cleaning, descaling, and disinfection
- Inspection, servicing, and replacement of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
- Cold Water Storage Tank (CWST) inspections
- Cleaning and chlorination of Cold Water Storage Tanks
- Cooling Tower cleaning and disinfection
- Calorifier inspections and temperature profiling
- Flushing of little-used outlets
- Monitoring water systems in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance
- Completing electronic job sheets and compliance reports
- Identifying system defects and reporting remedial recommendations
- Delivering excellent customer service while maintaining compliance standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months' experience within the Water Hygiene industry
- Good understanding of ACoP L8, HSG274, and Water Regulations
- Experience carrying out routine Water Hygiene monitoring and compliance tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, including roof voids and water storage tanks
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
