Our client is a leading Water Treatment Company that has an exciting opportunity that has become available to oversee Southeast Engineers and commercial operation. Ideally you will be located in the Home Counties or within the M25 corridor. As a Regional Operations Manager you will be the go-to person for your region ensuring smooth delivery of work to our customers whilst making sure we have a happy a competent workforce.

Due to the nature of the role there is a requirement for significant travel within the Region and at times other area of the UK.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and leadership of the Regional Operations and Engineers.
  • Oversight of the planning and scheduling of work – Liaise and supervise scheduler.
  • Ensuring that targets are achieved.
  • Monitor overtime, bonuses and sickness.
  • Report on weekly staffing, contracts and work along with attending meetings
  • Recruitment, training, and appraisals of staff to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Keep up to date with changes in law and legislation and best practice of the company.
  • Ensure serviceability and availability of all Company commercial vehicles being operated within the Region.
  • Work closely with Sales & Account Management Team to ensure service delivery.

  

Key Accountabilities:

  • The efficient running of the Regional Operations and engineering team.
  • The competence and capacity of the Regional Operations and engineering team.
  • The health and safety of the Regional Operations and engineering team.
  • Uphold the Company’s reputation and standing with its customers.
  • Responsible for the upskilling and competency of engineers
  • Required to carry out PPM/reactive duties as required.

 

Experience Required:

  • Full driving licence
  • It is essential you have a water hygiene/treatment background and have knowledge of knowledge of ACOP (L8).
  • Experience in growing and developing a team is needed and you must have good people skills, communication and leadership.
  • Having the ability to improve profits and margins is very advantageous
