Our client provides complete water hygiene and treatment services, helping organisations meet the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, the Health and Safety Commission's Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8 and the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations.

The client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Water Sales / Account Manager to cover contracts across Wiltshire / Dorset / Hampshire

Overall purpose of the position:

Help in achieving the sales turnover, and to achieving pre-set gross profit targets by ensuring that the tasks given are carried out in an orderly and professional manner enhancing the companies marketplace image, to increase profitability and identifying new or 'upgrade' business in existing or new customers.

  • Build on success, by customer relationship building i.e. Monitoring or other services or products.
  • Main activities and tasks:
  • Produce an action plan, including territory planning, cyclical call plan and strategies to attack short,
  • medium and long-term prospects.
  • Implement the plan to achieve a pre-set financial budget.
  • Undertake on site analysis and surveys to achieve an understanding of potential clients business needs
  • and produce reports, estimates and quotations to ensure maximum efficiency and legal compliance.

 

Maintain and build customer sites through on-going service and regular review.

  • In conjunction with the General Manager, ensure adequate resources are planned for and allocated for the
  • successful maintenance of the product's service.
  • Identify markets for growth of products and services.
  • Ensure key customer contracts are negotiated and reviewed annually.
  • Generate, wherever possible, cross-selling opportunities.
  • Liaise closely with the EST's and other members of the team to ensure that the requirements of the
  • company are met with regard to forward planning of labour.
  • Assist where necessary in field and give support to other members of the team.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with company Safety and Quality policies.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with the Departmental Procedures and those under the Legionella
  • Control Association - Code of Compliance.

 

Maintain knowledge of Legionnaires ' disease, through training and continual improvement, either through internal or external means as identified at annual appraisals or interim 'tool-box' discussions.

Ideally candidates will hold either a degree or A Levels in a Science subject
