Our client is a global water technology company with expertise in water treatment for industrial, commercial, pharmaceutical, leisure and domestic applications. The company operates in most countries around the world with special focus on European markets.

The company manufactures solutions for both domestic and export use and supplies the UK market with appropriate solutions from the extensive global portfolio.

The company are now looking for a Sales Executive to sell their Point of Use (POU) Water Dispensers. It is a B2B role and national in scope but will initially be focused on the southern half of the country.

The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity and a desire to challenge some long-standing assumptions. The position reports to the National Sales Manager and the long-term opportunity for the right individual is to create a significant new business unit.

The company products solve water related problems, adding value and quality to professional kitchen installations. Protecting expensive catering appliances increases reliability and reduces lifetime costs.

The route to market is via Manufacturers, ‘Partner Operators’ or ‘Dealers’ in the catering environment who themselves supply equipment, service and maintenance to catering establishments. This often requires contact with end users in kitchens, so a range of communication styles is needed.

Key areas of activity -

    1. Physical sales - to achieve installation of ‘Water and More’ solutions to catering appliances such as Ovens/Ice makers/Dishwashers/others. This will require an appropriate, tailored approach resulting in direct sales to a. International equipment manufacturers and their dedicated UK operations
    1. UK equipment manufacturers and their networks of dealers and suppliers
    2. Catering equipment distributors/installers/maintenance suppliers
    1. Specification sales – effective communication with architects, specifiers and designers will result in solutions being specified alongside appliances on a planned development. Follow thorough to nominated installers will be essential.
    2. Leading networking campaigns and trade show attendance, in conjunction with manager and marketing colleagues to increase visibility and awareness against agreed success criteria.
    3. To communicate activities and successes effectively within the company by participating in internal meetings as appropriate and to work closely with POU team colleagues and POU Operations
    4. To operate independently from, but to interface closely with the National Sales Manager through frequent and regular formal meetings and informal updates.
    5. 6. To accurately carry out all specified administration tasks in a timely manner and to the required standard.
