Our client is a well-established Water Treatment company providing specialist water treatment services to industrial, commercial, manufacturing, healthcare, and public sector clients throughout the UK.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit either an experienced Water Treatment Account Manager or an ambitious Water Treatment Service Chemist looking to progress into a client-facing Account Management role.
This position is based in the West Midlands, covering Birmingham and the surrounding region, and offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with genuine career progression.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an established portfolio of industrial water treatment clients while delivering technical support and water treatment services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop existing Water Treatment client accounts
- Carry out routine boiler and cooling tower water analysis
- Monitor and maintain industrial Water Treatment programmes
- Carry out closed system sampling and chemical analysis
- Recommend and implement chemical treatment programmes
- Investigate water treatment issues and provide technical solutions
- Produce detailed service reports and technical recommendations
- Build strong relationships with customers through regular site visits
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and introduce additional services
- Ensure all treatment programmes comply with industry standards and best practice
- Work closely with Operations and Technical teams to deliver excellent customer service
- Assist with quotations, contract renewals, and technical proposals where required
Requirements
- Previous experience within the Industrial Water Treatment industry
- Experience carrying out boiler and cooling tower analysis
- Good understanding of industrial water treatment chemistry
- Experience working with:
- Steam Boilers
- Cooling Towers
- Closed Systems
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own territory
- Full UK Driving Licence
