Our client is a specialist Environmental Company looking to recruit an Account Manager to cover the Midlands down the M5 to Gloucestershire

Responsible for managing key client accounts and delivering water treatment consultancy and compliance services. This role focuses on maintaining contractual obligations, improving system efficiency, and identifying opportunities for business growth through account development and upselling.

The position combines technical service delivery with account management, supporting customers in maintaining compliant and efficient water and steam systems.

Main Duties:

  • Analyse water quality across systems and interpret result
  • Provide recommendations to improve system performance and efficiency
  • Implement solutions within contractual scope
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and health & safety standards
  • Schedule and complete all contractual tasks within agreed timeframes
  • Maintain equipment and report any defects
  • Deliver consultancy services focused on water and steam quality
  • Support clients in reducing energy consumption, maintenance costs, and downtime
  • Build strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Identify and develop opportunities within existing accounts
  • Follow up and pre-qualify leads
  • Generate and support new business opportunities
  • Prepare and present service proposals
  • Convert proposals into orders and maximise revenue opportunities
  • Maintain and manage sales pipeline and forecasting tools
  • Contribute to regional planning and forecasting activities
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting
