Our client is a market leading water treatment service provider, boasting a range of specialist engineering & compliance services. Areas of business are predominately swimming pool plant engineering and legionella compliance.
Services range from bespoke service contracts supporting onsite equipment, including PPM visits for legionella prevention tasks, right through to design and installation of complete swimming pool filtration plant and chemical dosing packages.
As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will be responsible for completing Legionella water hygiene PPM works whilst building good honest relationships with the customers, not only providing excellent water treatment service, but also offering recommendations and solutions for remedial works.
This role is covering from Swindon to Slough so candidates will ideally be living along the M4 Corridor
Attend regular planning meetings to ensure that all service contract PPM visits are scheduled and
completed within the required time scales working with the administration department.
Inform clients of proposed service visits and carry out site visits.
Execute water hygiene monitoring tasks to include:
Hot and Cold outlet temperature monitoring
Water heater flow and return temperature monitoring and internal inspection
TMV calibration and fail safe testing
Shower head descaling
Microbiological sampling and completion of sample submission sheets
Cold water storage tank inspection
Closed system analytical testing
Swimming pool balance water tests and plant inspections
Ensure customer on-site logbooks are up-to-date and report any site non-conformances.
Organise appropriate equipment/parts to complete service visits.
