Due to continued growth within our clients in-house water treatment division, an opportunity has arisen for a Water Treatment Technician / Engineer to join a team covering multiple sites across Central London.
This is a mobile role with daily travel between sites, taking ownership of water treatment tasks and compliance across several commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Closed system sampling and analysis (photometer / mini-lab)
- CWST inspections and domestic water sampling
- Transporting samples to laboratory drop-off points
- Chlorine dioxide and water softener testing
- Chemical dosing on closed systems
- Sidestream filter inspections and maintenance
- Logbook checks and compliance audits
- Completion of job sheets and service records
- TMV testing and servicing
- Inputting lab data into trending systems (Excel)
- Cooling tower dosing equipment servicing and repairs
Additional Experience (Desirable):
- Basic plumbing and remedial works (valves, dead legs, etc.)
- Calorifier / plate heat exchanger descaling
- PVC pipework installation and repairs
- System disinfection works
- Closed system flushing and cleaning
- Servicing of water treatment equipment (UV, BEX, etc.)
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the water treatment industry
- Strong knowledge of water hygiene and compliance tasks
- Understanding of HSG 274, BS8552 and BSRIA BG50 (advantageous)
- Confident working independently in plantroom environments
- Comfortable with lone working across multiple sites
Package & Benefits:
- Salary £30K - £40K
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours)
