Due to continued growth within our clients in-house water treatment division, an opportunity has arisen for a Water Treatment Technician / Engineer to join a team covering multiple sites across Central London.

This is a mobile role with daily travel between sites, taking ownership of water treatment tasks and compliance across several commercial properties.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Closed system sampling and analysis (photometer / mini-lab)
  • CWST inspections and domestic water sampling
  • Transporting samples to laboratory drop-off points
  • Chlorine dioxide and water softener testing
  • Chemical dosing on closed systems
  • Sidestream filter inspections and maintenance
  • Logbook checks and compliance audits
  • Completion of job sheets and service records
  • TMV testing and servicing
  • Inputting lab data into trending systems (Excel)
  • Cooling tower dosing equipment servicing and repairs

 

Additional Experience (Desirable):

  • Basic plumbing and remedial works (valves, dead legs, etc.)
  • Calorifier / plate heat exchanger descaling
  • PVC pipework installation and repairs
  • System disinfection works
  • Closed system flushing and cleaning
  • Servicing of water treatment equipment (UV, BEX, etc.)

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within the water treatment industry
  • Strong knowledge of water hygiene and compliance tasks
  • Understanding of HSG 274, BS8552 and BSRIA BG50 (advantageous)
  • Confident working independently in plantroom environments
  • Comfortable with lone working across multiple sites

 

Package & Benefits:

  • Salary £30K - £40K
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours)

Additional Info:

  • All work is based within Central London
  • No driving licence required (although beneficial long-term)
