Our client is a well-established Water Treatment and Water Hygiene company providing specialist compliance services to commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and public sector clients.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join their team, covering Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business, carrying out a wide range of water treatment and water hygiene duties across a varied client portfolio.
The Role
- Carry out routine water sampling in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance
- Service, inspect, and test Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
- Complete cleaning and disinfection works on domestic water systems
- Carry out cold water storage tank inspections where required
- Complete site logbooks and compliance documentation accurately
- Undertake routine water treatment and water hygiene monitoring
- Identify system defects and report remedial recommendations
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current legislation and company procedures
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and provide a high standard of service
- Manage your own workload and daily schedule across multiple client sites
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Water Treatment Engineer or Water Hygiene Engineer
- Good understanding of ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance
- Experience carrying out water sampling, TMV servicing, and cleaning & disinfection works
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Accurate report writing and logbook completion
- Full UK Driving Licence
