Our client is a leading Water Hygiene and Water Treatment company providing specialist compliance services to commercial, healthcare, industrial, and public sector clients throughout London and the South East.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit 2 x Senior Water Services Technicians to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in Water Treatment, Cooling Towers, Closed Systems, and Water Hygiene compliance who is looking to join a growing business offering long-term career progression.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a broad range of Water Treatment and Water Hygiene services across commercial client sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Cooling Tower monitoring, testing, and compliance visits
  • Complete Closed System sampling, analysis, and water quality testing
  • Undertake closed system dosing and remedial chemical treatment where required
  • Carry out hot and cold water temperature monitoring
  • Collect water samples for Legionella and microbiological analysis
  • Complete Cold Water Storage Tank inspections
  • Carry out showerhead cleaning, descaling, and disinfection
  • Inspect, service, and test Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
  • Undertake flushing of little-used outlets
  • Produce accurate electronic service reports and compliance documentation
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend remedial actions
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG274, and industry best practice
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service while maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Water Hygiene Engineer, Water Treatment Engineer, or Water Services Technician
  • Strong experience with Cooling Tower monitoring and testing
  • Experience carrying out Closed System analysis and sampling
  • Good knowledge of Water Hygiene compliance duties
  • Understanding of ACoP L8, HSG274, and industry legislation
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Full UK Driving Licence
