Our client is a well-established Water Treatment company providing specialist water treatment equipment, installation, commissioning, and maintenance services to commercial, industrial, healthcare, and public sector clients throughout the UK.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment Installation Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a field-based role covering the South of England, with the majority of work taking place on sites in and around the M25.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled installation engineer looking to join a growing business, working on a wide range of water treatment equipment and systems.

The Role

  • Install and commission a wide range of Water Treatment equipment
  • Install and commission Water Softeners
  • Install and commission Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems
  • Install Cooling Tower chemical dosing equipment
  • Install chemical dosing systems, dosing pumps, tanks, and control equipment
  • Install PVC pipework and associated fittings
  • Complete electrical wiring and control panel connections
  • Carry out fault finding and commissioning of newly installed equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical drawings
  • Complete commissioning records and installation documentation accurately
  • Liaise with clients and project managers to ensure installations are completed to a high standard
  • Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
  • Maintain company tools, vehicle, and equipment

Requirements

  • Previous experience installing Water Treatment equipment
  • Good mechanical installation skills
  • Electrical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
  • Experience installing:
    • Water Softeners
    • Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems
    • Chemical dosing equipment
    • Cooling Tower dosing systems
  • Experience working with PVC pipework, dosing pumps, valves, and associated water treatment equipment
  • Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Experience

  • Electrical qualifications (18th Edition or equivalent advantageous)
  • Experience with PLC controls and dosing controllers
  • Knowledge of Water Treatment industry standards and best practices
  • Previous commissioning experience on commercial and industrial sites
