Our client is a leading company in the design and manufacture of water treatment products for the building services industry. Working alongside consultants, contractors and end users to ensure the correct water treatment solution is selected and correctly implemented into the design of new or refurbished systems.
They are now recruiting for a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer.
Duties Include:
To commission service, repair or replace company products and check installations:
Physical water conditioners
Ultra violet disinfection systems
Chlorine dioxide dosing systems
Water softeners
Reverse Osmosis system
Filtration equipment
Chemical dosing systems
To provide technical assistance on company products to clients and staff.
To help maintain customer service/maintenance files, spreadsheets and databases.
To help maintain an effective stock control and re-ordering system for spare parts and inform Services Contracts Manager when stocks are low.
To identify faulty equipment for returning to Supplier and maintaining records of same.
To identify repair/service opportunities and advise Services Contracts Manager.
To represent the Company in a professional manner at all times.
To take ownership of jobs on site visits and report to Services Contracts Manager on completion.
To complete written accurate reports of completed site visits and return to Services Contracts Manager.
To be responsible for personal health and safety at all times. Keep up to date with technical advances within the water treatment industry.
The successful applicant will be expected to be used to covering an extensive area with national travelling estimated around 30,000 miles per year depending on home location, with the occasional nights away. You should have a full manual driving licence.
Salary and Terms:
Salary Range is £27K to £30K depending on experience
Auto enrolment pension scheme after 3 months
28 days holiday (made up of 20 days + 8 bank holiday days)
