Our client is a leading Water Treatment Company that is looking to recruit a Water Treatment Equipment Project Manager in the South East

 

As Equipment Project Manager you will manage the Equipment team and ensure the successful execution of equipment jobs and projects. Including surveying, servicing, installation etc. To manage equipment related projects to ensure they are delivered safely, cost effectively, on time and of a high quality. To manage your own contracts profitably and safely to company Standard. To achieve sales target.

 

Areas of responsibility:

  • Work closely with prospects, customers, and sales/account managers to understand the business requirement for the potential projects.
  • Define and detail resource requirements and work plan for the project and manage their delivery.
  • Quotation support for engineering & equipment jobs.
  • To assist consultants and clients in surveys for projects as required.
  • Coordination and project management of engineering jobs as required, utilising tools, systems, and resources (i.e. teams, MS project, One Note, D365 etc.).
  • Ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget including tracking and reporting orders, management time, team hours and expenses incurred on the project.
  • To ensure all projects meet industry standards, comply with legislation and project legal documents are completed and signed.
  • To write RAMS for engineering tasks as and when required.
  • Work closely with the wider project delivery team to monitor and motivate.
  • Complete commissioning of installations/projects.
  • Deliver operator/technician training to internal and external stakeholders on completed installations/projects.
  • To conduct project presentations and compile reports for both the client and company personnel.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project in conjunction with the account manager and Engineering management.
  • Accurately forecast revenue, profitability, margins and utilisation.
  • Facilitate project meetings effectively.
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to line management.
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Assist in the production of marketing collateral including case studies.
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on customer engagements.
  • Required to set a culture of continuous improvement and ideas.
  • Effectively liaise with other teams/departments within the company.
  • Identify training requirements, and complete training in order to effectively carry out duties.
  • Attend problematic sites in order to diagnose and repair on-going breakdowns or maintenance issues.
  • To communicate any relevant findings to the appropriate consultants/managers.
  • To ensure that all company admin processes, including site service reports, schedules and time sheets, are completed in a timely manner.
  • To maintain all equipment provided to the necessary requirements to undertake appropriate standards of service.
  • To manage own contracts profitably and to Feedwater standard.
  • To achieve sales target.
  • To attend all courses, seminars and training sessions as deemed necessary.
  • To ensure all Health and Safety procedures and administration processes are adhered to.

 

In return the Company are offering

Basic Salary £40K - £45K (OTE £55K - £60K)
