A leading company within the Water Treatment Industry is now recruiting for a Water Treatment Key Account Manager in London / South Easr 

The company’s product portfolio includes a broad array of process, functional and water treatment chemistries as well as state-of-the-art monitoring and control systems. These technologies are used by customers to improve operational efficiencies, enhance product quality, protect plant assets and minimize environmental impact.

As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for growing the business base in the South in line with business strategy and commercial targets.

Mainly managing industrial water treatment and waste water applications with additional opportunities within cooling and boiler water applications. There is initially an approximate 30/70 split between new business sales and key account management (including sales and service and consultancy to existing customers).

Responsible for all sales, account correspondence, contracts, orders received, new business implementation, troubleshooting and follow up within territory.

Working to clarify defined commercial sales targets – reviewed on a monthly basis.

The types of industries to service and to sell into are mainly within, CPI, HPI, Steel

Dealing with Technical, Engineering, Buyers and Facility Managers.

Maintaining appropriate records.

The Individual

Master’s degree, preferably in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, is an advantage or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree.

5 years’ experience in Sales in the Water treatment industry is a distinctive advantage.

Sound technical knowledge of Influent and Waste Water Treatment, Coagulants, MB control, Polymers and Defoamers.

Customer focus – Ability to fulfil customer needs and expectations. Must be professional and confident with internal and external customers.

Delivering Results – Deliver against strategic business KPI’s. Passionate about success and delivering operational excellence, whilst sharing best practice.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a true service attitude.
