We are working with an established, privately owned Water Treatment company with over 25 years’ industry experience, now looking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to cover sites across London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a knowledgeable and well-supported engineering team, with strong technical backing from senior management who have extensive hands-on experience within the Water Treatment industry.
The Role
As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of a wide range of water treatment equipment across commercial and industrial client sites throughout London.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and maintaining water treatment equipment
- Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of equipment
- Carrying out remedial works where required
- Working on equipment from a variety of manufacturers, rather than solely in-house systems
- Servicing and maintaining Water Softeners, Reverse Osmosis (RO) and filtration systems
- Working with pumps, Deionisation (DI) equipment and associated components
- Identifying potential equipment issues and recommending appropriate solutions
- Completing service documentation and reports
- Providing a high standard of technical support and customer service
- Working alongside the wider engineering team to provide responsive service coverage across London
Experience Required
Candidates should have a solid background within the Water Treatment industry, ideally with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Service or Equipment Engineer position.
You should have practical experience with a good selection of the following:
- Water Softeners
- Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems
- Pumps
- Filtration systems
- Deionisation (DI) equipment
- Associated valves and controls
- General pipework and water treatment system components
- Equipment servicing, maintenance and fault finding
The company is particularly interested in engineers who are comfortable working independently, diagnosing equipment faults and servicing systems from a range of different manufacturers.
