Our client is a leading water treatment company that operate to the highest quality standards. They are currently looking to recruit a Water Treatment Account Manager to cover a territory around the Staffordshire region.
With this role there will an approximate 30/70 split between new business sales and account management (including sales and service to existing customers).
The candidate would be required to deal with Technical, Engineering, buyers and Facility Managers within their existing business and potential customers.
The role will involve the following duties:
Look after current customer base
Need to have a good working knowledge of L8 legislation, documentation and necessary record keeping
Expected to look for own prospects and to generate own sales leads
Type of industries to sell into are large/heavy industry (Chemical, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas)
Excellent knowledge of Cooling Towers, Closed Systems and Boilers
Good presentation skills with a proven related sales background would also be an advantage
Accurate and on time monthly reporting together with team working are important
Ideally candidates will be degree qualified in a relevant Chemical/ Chemistry or Engineering degree. In return the company offers an excellent compensation package which includes salary, company car and comprehensive benefits.
