Our client, a leading provider of water treatment solutions, is looking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment Sales / Account Manager to cover the Yorkshire region.
This is a field-based role focused on managing an established client base while driving new business growth. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality technical service alongside developing long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of water treatment accounts (approx. 60% of role)
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region (approx. 40%)
- Carry out on-site water analysis including:
- Closed systems
- Cooling towers
- Steam boilers
- Provide technical advice and recommendations to improve system efficiency and compliance
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery
Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the water treatment industry
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Cooling towers
- Steam boilers
- Closed loop systems
- Proven experience in account management and/or technical sales
- Relevant science or chemistry qualification (desirable)
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage workload independently
- Full UK driving licence
Salary & Package
- Basic salary: £35K – £45K
- Excellent commission structure (OTE £60K+)
