Our client is a specialist Filtration Design and Manufacturing Company that is seeking to recruit an ambitious and career-minded Technical Sales Manager to join the sales team.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your role will be to assist the company to deliver an ambitious growth plan by increasing market share in the Healthcare sector, through implementation of an effective sales strategy in the South UK region. You will be a professional, articulate and technically minded individual that can effectively operate at all levels of the Water Safety Group, supporting our customers through a best practice, consultative sales approach.

Duties;

  • Work closely with the National Sales Manager for Healthcare, to drive the development of the business in the South UK region
  • Lead the sales process end to end, from prospect identification, to qualification, nurturing to point of sale
  • Prepare and implement sales strategies to effectively meet business revenue targets in new and existing accounts
  • Devise commercial proposals, estimate costs in line with specifications and successfully sell while ensuring projected margins are achieved
  • Prepare technical proposals and deliver presentations
  • Responsible for key account management, and providing product technical support
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers, such as consultants and Authorised Engineers
  • Effectively utilise the CRM system to monitor performance against targets and provide sales forecast reports
  • Input to marketing activity and represent the company at exhibition events

Essential Criteria;

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Business Development/Sales role
  • Minimum 3 years experience operating within the Water Hygiene Compliance industry
  • Technical competency in the application of the relevant industry legislative and guidance standards within the water safety/ compliance sector
  • Experience in technical / consultative led sales
  • Track record of delivering new business sales to value of >£400k pa

The company is a market leading range of innovative products designed to reduce the risk of hospital acquired infection from harmful waterborne pathogens such as Legionella and Pseudomonas bacteria.

The company offer a basic up to £45K + Commission
