Our Client a Water Treatment Company based in Surrey is looking for a Water Treatment Service Manager to work from their Surrey Office.

The role of Service Manager will encompass, but is not limited to, the below areas of management and development with the business:



Scheduling all works for customers.

Using skills matrix to assign tasks. Quarterly meeting with directors to update.

To order parts / chemicals etc. for works as required. Or delegate.

To order sundries for engineers as needed (chemical, test strips etc.) or delegate

To create & maintain product database- to include office stock inventory, parts list with up-to-date prices & serial numbers, customer database of parts sold/on-site systems. Will require all supplier cost increases to be communicated with Service manager.

Work with supervisors to improve first visits to contracts- so that we gather more information to reduce the number of repeat visits. i.e knowing which replacement parts we may need and reducing incorrect sampling locations. Including feedback from engineers about how long service visits take.


Cost Analysis/Planning Tracker-

Work closely with finance team to monitor financial aspects of all jobs to calculate job profit/loss. Ensuring every engineer day and every part is allocated to jobs so that we can determine the actual cost of each job and the actual profit made as right now we aren’t looking at this in much detail.

Improve communication processes with field staff so that engineers can plan their time better – i.e. informing them as soon as parts come in, more comms about jobs, better detail on team up etc.

Continue to work together with Finance/Office manager to improve and update processes across the business.

Providing temporary support for CLE’s with their customers for initial 6 months.

Provide training to relevant staff member to take over customer accounts support/management role


The company offer a salary in the region of £35K
