Our client is a leading FM Company that is looking to recruit a Water Treatment Technical Supervisor in Central Scotland

Duties Include:

  • Execute the self-delivery of all Water Treatment services across Central Scotland
  • Interpersonal skills will be key to gaining the trust and confidence of all Clients, effectively working with the Technical team supported by Schedulers and Contract Administrators to efficiently deliver Water Treatment Planned and remedial works utilising system tools.

 

This will be a Working Supervisor role with a view to supporting in field on specific works as required.

  • Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests
  • Coordinate the production of quotations including undertaking site survey
  • First point for customers on site and customer queries/complaints
  • Attend client meetings as and when required
  • Complete Safety Visits for all Engineers
  • Review all Job Sheets in timely manner for accuracy, legibility, procurement, (materials
  • and quotations) problem solving
  • Report overtime for managers authorisation
  • Supervise material budget per contract
  • Support Helpdesk with allocating calls to the correct engineers for your sites
  • Periodically review planners
  • Ensure availability of resources for designated contracts
  • Make and document any PPM changes / variations
  • Review assets in timely manner
  • Supervise availability of engineering staff to attend training courses in line with
  • requirements
  • Ensure all site L8 log books are in date and accurate
  • Production of Quotations
  • Complete accident / incident investigations in a timely manner
  • Ensure all engineers are following risk assessments and method statements for all works
  • HR (Human Resources)
  • Complete primary investigations for any alleged misconduct incidents involving Technical
  • staff and report to RTM

Qualifications or Required Experience:

  • City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent qualification for mechanical discipline
  • At least 5 year’s post qualification experience
  • Extensive knowledge of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition), its associated technical guidance documents of HSG274 and British Standards where
  • Applicable Good knowledge of Closed Systems to be able to size and quote for necessary remedial works following initial onsite technical analysis of a closed system
